PG-ish

As we struggle to jump back into the busy routine of going back to school, I’m reminded that humans are made to adapt. We have the ability to learn new routines and shift our actions to fit our circumstances.

Today’s clip is all about why positive changes are possible, and it’s one that you won’t want to miss. Child psychiatrist and neuroscientist Dr. Bruce Perry talks with Oprah Winfrey about the impact of childhood trauma on our physical biology and who we become because of it, as well as how we as parents and educators can approach our kids with better questions, routines, and connections. They explain that shifting how we relate to each other can actually help us heal and grow in resilience throughout all that life throws our way.
